Arts & Culture groups in and around Morden will have the opportunity to learn some important management practices from author and businessman Dr. Robert Kent.
Kent will be bringing his three hour seminar on "The Principles of Managing People" to Morden on April 19.
Kent is President of the Mansis Centre for Management Training and Organizational Development, where he helps business owners and their management implement simple and practical processes for managing employers.
He specializes in performance management and the structure and management of small and medium- sized organizations.
Kent will help you to motivate, direct, and manage those in your organization to maintain momentum in your projects and activities.
Kent says after 30 years studying organization and management research, and helping thousands of managers get better performance from their people, he has identified set of universal principles that apply well in any organization to define the essence of what managing people is all about.
He will teach workshop participants fundamental principles they need to know to manage people effectively and lead their organization to success.
This is the third in a series of three Arts and Culture workshop being offered as part of Morden’s Chautauqua Spirit project.
Cost for the workshop is $15 per participant, although members of Chautauqua Spirit arts and culture organizations will receive a limited number of tickets without charge. You can reserve your spot at the workshop by calling Yvonne Peters – 822-3406 or e-mailing her at info@discoverfossils.com.
