The 20th edition of the Back Forty Folk Festival will see some new acts take to the stage in the Morden Park May 31 and June 1.
James Keelaghan will make his debut at the Back Forty Festival on Sunday.
Keelaghan is a gifted singer-songwriter with ten albums to his credit. His music is recognized in folk circles internationally and he has been called on of Canada’s greatest songwriters.
Keelaghan will be performing and hosting a workshop for songwriters at the Festival.
Winners of the Loreena McKennitt Composition Competition will also be appearing with him on stage.
The Back Forty Festival takes place from Noon to dusk Saturday May 31 and Sunday June 1 with workshops for musicians and songwriters and more performances.
